Fairness
Elip decides which jobs to show you and which people to recommend to companies. That's a responsibility. Here's how we handle it, and what we haven't done yet.
What Elip looks at
What you've done, what you want, and what you'd never take. The requirements of a role. That's it.
What Elip doesn't use
Your gender, age, religion, caste, race, ethnicity, disability, marital status, or where your family is from. We don't ask, and Elip is instructed not to infer or weigh them. If you mention them in conversation, they don't affect matching.
What we check
We review Elip's recommendations for patterns that could point to bias, and we test changes before they ship. When we find something wrong, we fix it and we'll say so here.
What we haven't done yet
Elip has not been independently audited for bias by a third party, and we don't hold any certification for it. We intend to seek an independent review as the service grows, and when we have one we'll publish the result on this page. Until then, please read our claims as our own.
Companies
Companies hiring through Elip agree to treat candidates fairly and lawfully, including under anti-discrimination law where they operate. See the Company Terms and Data Sharing Agreement.
If something looks wrong
If you think Elip treated you unfairly, tell us at gaurav@tryelip.ai. A person will look at it.
