Company Terms
These terms apply when a company uses Elip to find and hire people. They sit alongside our Terms and Privacy policy.
1. What you get
You tell Elip who you're looking for. Elip recommends people who fit, with a note on why. Introductions are consent-based: a candidate's details are only shared once they've agreed to be introduced to you.
2. Fees
Nothing to start. You pay a placement fee only when you hire someone Elip recommended. The fee and payment terms are set out in your order form or confirmed in writing before any introduction. If you hire a candidate Elip introduced within 12 months of the introduction, the fee applies.
3. Your part
Treat candidates fairly and lawfully, including under applicable anti-discrimination and employment law. Keep candidate information confidential and use it only to assess them for your roles. Don't pass it to third parties or use it to build a database. Tell us within 30 days if you hire someone Elip introduced.
4. No guarantees
We don't guarantee that a recommended candidate will accept, perform, or stay. Hiring decisions and employment terms are yours.
5. Data
We share candidate data with you as a separate controller. Each of us is responsible for our own compliance with data protection law. You'll delete candidate data when it's no longer needed for the role.
6. Liability, law, changes
The same limits, governing law, and change process as our Terms apply. Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
