Position Name

Shift In charge – Mechanical Maintenance

Purpose - Why does this role exist?

Responsible for the managing the shift and day to day running of a production area or process and manage production workers and other resources to make sure that production targets are met.

Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators)

Operations

Manage shift activities on shop floor to achieve KPI’s Effective production planning to dilute inventories as per priority Technical knowledge on continuous Annealing Process Knowledge on good shop floor practices such as 5S, KAIZEN and POKA-YOKE Excellent communication skills to interreact with interested parties PPC, Maintenance etc. Should be able to work as a team with employees of all level and guide associates to

follow SOP.

Carryout production deviation analysis and take counter measures. Exposure to ISO systems Such as QMS, OHSAS and EnMS

Man Management

To motivate and encourage workers and operators Responsible for allocating the work to workers and monitor their performance To be responsible for development and training of production workers

Decision making authority (Decisions expected)
