Purpose - Why does this role exist?
Develop and monitor the delivery of preventative maintenance programs that align with asset management strategies. job involves innovation of new developments, modifications and amendments with a high focus on cost savings. Ensure procedures enable optimal delivery.
Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators)
Preventive Maintenance
Responsible for looking after the shifts, electrical maintenance activities in order to optimize the breakdowns and increase the utilization of machineries. Review of daily Logbook, Daily Power consumption report and initiation of appropriate corrective actions accordingly. Preparation of Monthly Power consumption reports and monthly delay reports. Planning & implementation of preventive maintenance activities as per schedule. Review and verification of breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting activities and action to minimize Breakdowns and improve efficiency. Assist Respective Section Head to analyze the repetitive failures and to take corrective action accordingly. Analyze the fault and take corrective action. In case of major / critical/Emergency breakdown inform the respective S.H./HOD. Assist respective Section head in spare planning and Inspection of MRNs. Monitor Key Performance Indicators and ensure that targets of the section are achieved. Ensure that Energy conservation efforts are implemented properly. Review of daily power consumption report and Prepare monthly MIS. Prepare Repetitive Failure Analysis reports and Generate Purchase Requests for Spare management. Monitor Store Inventory and issue material in consultation with section in charge. Monitor and Analyze the fault and take corrective action. In case of major / critical/ Emergency breakdown inform the Respective Section in charge / S.H./ HOD.
Break Down Maintenance
Perform the root cause analysis of repetitive breakdowns & find a permanent solution. Doing root cause analysis to reduce routine problems or trivial break down complaints. Ensure completion of the appropriate documentation, as required time to time. Attending to urgent matters as they arise depending on the priority analysis.
Spare Part Management
Responsible for maintaining the optimum level of inventory of all the critical spare parts.
Utilities/Enhancements
Responsible for process enhancements/development jobs as per the plant requirements. Making Modifications/Amendments on the spare parts with a focus on cost saving. Ensure carry out in-house low-cost automation projects to meet customer expectation.
Compliances
To ensure compliance & Clearance from Government bodies to avoid any statutory violence.
Safety Perspective
Ensuring Overall departmental compliances related to safety as per SOPs.
MIS Reports / Documentation
Responsible for providing Comparison sheets for Target Planned Vs Achieved / Breakdown Occurrence & Analysis / Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) taken to management on daily / weekly / monthly basis etc.

Educational Background And Work Experience
B. Tech – Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Should have 5 – 10 years of relevant experience in Electrical Maintenance
