Field Service Project Manager

Invoicing to customer POs, payment documents, payment follow up & receipts etc. for ETC projects & supervision invoices, time sheets, counting, clubbing, totaling etc.To arrange POs to vendors, their payments, Re-conciliation, ensure to follow, compliance & Hitachi process. Offers, comparison, finalization process etcArrange safety equipment to site & site support for following safety without any deviation at site. Safety documentation, regular reports, audits facing etc. Audit related works like records keeping, adding, audit compliances & improvements.ISO Audit & documentation, timely keeping all the ISO records. Audit points compliance etc. GPG Audit requirements, updates and records maintaining, audit point compliance etc. HUB/Global safety audit points maintenance, audit compliance points circulation to all team & follow up regularly within service engineers’ team.Vendors ARC renewal, adding new vendors, CCQQ, finalization with SCM etc.SAP/Reiwa related works in after sales & services. Site visit for safety & contractor compliance point of view improvements & ensure all safety & compliance fully followed at sites.Safety training details are maintained for all engineers like PICW, Confined space, First AID and keeping records, tracking, push if any to ensure all are timely trained/certified. Support service engineers for their requirements in PPE/stationary/ logos etc. ABRA, Night permission approvals etc.Welfare programmes, events for service engineers like SERVICE MEETS, Awards, sending Hitachi welfare items to them etc. Hitachi T-shirts, safety shoes etc.Techno Commercial skills are required. Multi-tasking and prompt actions, ready to work on odd hours considering site emergencies/support required remotely/from office etc.Site visit regularly to review site safety, storage and overall audit. Updating & keeping all service records of technical site data, office documents etc.Provide on-site and remote technical support for transformer installation, commissioning, and routine maintenance activities, identify technical issues, and conduct analysis to determine effective solutions across different service categories.Ensure all required accident prevention measures are followed and comply with guidelines for working on energized system components.Monitor and enforce compliance with safety standards and industry-accepted practices.Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and providing specialized technical support and solutions.Recommend immediate and future service requirements to customers and provide relevant feedback to the Service Sales team.Act as the OEM representative during customer interactions, ensuring all necessary tools, equipment, and spare parts are prepared and the scope of work is clearly understood before service execution.Verify that all required job documentation is available and participate in site briefings with the Service Manager, Head of Department, or Supervisor regarding expected site conditions and work requirements.Prepare accurate service reports, timesheets, and delivery notes, ensuring customer approval and sign-off where required.Serve as the voice of the customer by communicating feedback and field observations to internal engineering and quality teams.Support the planning, execution, and delivery of transformer maintenance site activities.Effectively coordinate with internal teams, feeder factories, service departments, customers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.Demonstrate leadership, collaboration, and a team-oriented approach while maintaining a high level of self-discipline, quality, and accuracy in all deliverables.Update installed base records to reflect modifications and changes implemented at customer sites.Develop long-term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and applicable regulations, responding promptly to issues, and leveraging in-depth technical knowledge to promote product lifecycle management solutions.Ensure compliance with quality assurance requirements at power plant and substation sites and support continuous improvement initiatives.You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.Living Hitachi Energy’s core values safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the businessManage the full lifecycle of transformer service projects from initiation through closure.Develop project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and third-party contractors.Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining communication and managing expectations throughout project execution.Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues while developing contingency plans.Monitor project progress, track KPIs, and provide regular updates to management.Manage project budgets, approve expenditures, and support cost-effective project delivery.Support post-project reviews and continuous improvement of project management processes and tools within the Services Division.Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

Your Background

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.Strong technical expertise in Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) and transformer condition assessment, transformer testing, asset management, monitoring, or diagnostics.Independent use of digital and data insights to manage service performance, teams, customer outcomes, and improvement actions. Knowledge of transformer failure modes, insulation systems, and condition-based maintenance practices.Familiarity with industry standards such as IEEE, IEC, and CIGRE related to transformer diagnostics and monitoring.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful recommendations.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a global, multidisciplinary environment.Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites, factories, conferences, and technical meetings.Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.Experience managing transformer services or heavy industrial equipment projects.Understanding of transformer technology, maintenance, and repair processes preferred.Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, sales teams, and cross-functional project participants.PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
