Business Development – Process Industries

Key Responsibilities:Identifying the areas of conversion to Stainless Steel/ Duplex GradesKnowhow about various metallurgies being used in process industry Techno commercial understanding of the process and comparisons of SS vs competition. Conducting primary & secondary research of Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Speciality chemicals, Biofuels. Work closely with End users, Consultants, Contractors, Process Licensors etc. for new applications/business opportunities. Identifying the new business opportunities to create new markets for stainless steel and to work closely with QA, R&D & other stakeholders.Market development actives in identified industry segment and penetration of products via new application/product development.Conferences, Seminars & Client Presentations. Deliverables:Conversion to Stainless steel Replication of Prototype (Inclusion in tender specifications with key stakeholders)Enhance usage of Speciality Stainless steel Grades in Process Industries and conversion from Competition to JSLDomain Expertise:B.Tech in Chemical / Metallurgy Knowledge of Designing (ASME/ EN Codes) will be added advantageKnowledge of Chemicals & Petrochemical industry would be added advantageIndividual Skills:Analytical SkillGood Presentation skills.Good Communication skillsStrong Interpersonal SkillsMindset & Behaviors: Able to develop roadmap to success and diligently work towards goalsSelf-Initiator / Individual contributorPeople management Able to communicate confidentially with Higher management and Senior officials of clients / Govt departments
