With a strong nationwide presence, Bajaj Finserv provides opportunities to work on impactful financial products that reach customers across the length and breadth of India.Role Description The Sales Manager role is a full-time hybrid position based in Trivandrum, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The Sales Manager will oversee sales operations, drive business growth, and manage a team to achieve revenue and customer acquisition targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies, monitoring performance metrics, conducting market analysis, and building strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. The role also involves coaching and mentoring team members, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and collaborating with marketing, product, and operations teams to improve offerings and customer experience. The Sales Manager is expected to use data-driven insights to identify opportunities, optimize sales processes, and support long-term business objectives.Qualifications Strong sales and business development skills, with experience in target setting, pipeline management, and closing deals.Team leadership and people management capabilities, including coaching, performance management, and motivation of sales staff.Proficiency in customer relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder communication.Ability to analyze market trends, interpret sales data, and make data-driven decisions.Familiarity with financial services, lending, insurance, or related domains is highly beneficial.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional regional language skills are an advantage.Comfort with digital tools, CRM systems, and basic MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is a plus.Proven experience in a sales management or senior sales role, preferably in financial services or BFSI sectors.Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage priorities independently, and adapt to a fast-paced, performance-driven culture.
