A manufacturing engineering intern at an omnichannel retail technology company provides Technical Support across Manufacturing Execution Systems, electronics, and SQL, and applies Mechanical Engineering to production systems and connected devices. The role also uses networking and system connectivity to troubleshoot incidents and reduce downtime.

About the internship:Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Provide on-floor technical support for manufacturing systems, equipment, and connected devices to ensure continuous production.

2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MES, hardware, electronics, networking, and system connectivity.

3. Monitor device health, identify abnormalities, and support preventive corrective actions to reduce downtime.

4. Coordinate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to restore operations quickly during incidents.

5. Perform basic SQL-based checks, data validation, and issue diagnosis within production support systems.

6. Document incidents, resolutions, escalations, and recurring issues accurately for operational tracking.

7. Support system start-up, changeover, and shift handover activities across 12-hour rotating shifts.

8. Communicate effectively with plant stakeholders in Telugu and English to support timely issue resolution.
