Job Description: F&F, Payroll & Compliance Specialist

Location: Thane, MumbaiExperience: 4–6 YearsEmployment Type: Full-TimeRole Focus: 70% F&F | 20% Payroll | 10% Compliance

Role OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced F&F, Payroll & Compliance Specialist to primarily manage the Full & Final Settlement (F&F) lifecycle, while also supporting payroll processing and statutory compliance activities.The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in employee separation processes, F&F calculations, payroll inputs, statutory deductions, and HR operations. The role requires excellent attention to detail, strong stakeholder coordination, and the ability to independently manage high-volume employee lifecycle transactions.

Key Responsibilities1. Full & Final Settlement – 70%Manage the complete Full & Final Settlement process for employees across various business functions.Ensure timely and accurate calculation of:Salary payableLeave encashmentNotice period recovery / buyoutIncentives and variable payReimbursementsBonus and other applicable componentsDeductions and recoveriesLoans / advancesAsset recoveriesValidate employee attendance, leave records, salary data, exit inputs, and other relevant information before processing F&F.Coordinate with HR, Finance, Payroll, Business HR, and other stakeholders to ensure timely F&F closure.Handle and resolve employee queries related to F&F calculations, deductions, and settlement timelines.Prepare and ensure accurate release of F&F statements and settlement-related documents.Track pending F&F cases and ensure closure within defined TAT.Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve F&F-related issues.Maintain accurate records and reporting related to employee separations and F&F.Coordinate exit clearance and ensure timely closure of asset, finance, and other recoveries.Drive process improvements to make the F&F process more efficient, accurate, and error-free.

2. Payroll – 20%Support monthly payroll processing by providing and validating accurate employee inputs.Coordinate with HR and payroll teams on:New joinersEmployee exitsSalary revisionsLeave and attendanceIncentives / variable payDeductions and recoveriesArrears and adjustmentsPerform payroll input validation and reconciliation before payroll closure.Assist in resolving payroll-related employee queries.Coordinate with internal stakeholders and payroll vendors, wherever applicable.Ensure payroll data accuracy, confidentiality, and timely submission.

3. Statutory Compliance – 10%Support statutory compliance activities related to PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, TDS, and other applicable labour compliances.Coordinate with payroll teams and internal/external compliance partners for timely statutory filings and payments.Maintain employee and statutory records required for audits and compliance purposes.Support internal and statutory audits by providing relevant HR and payroll documentation.Stay updated on changes in applicable payroll and labor laws and support implementation of relevant

Preferred Candidate ProfileStrong background in F&F and employee exit operations with the ability to independently manage the complete settlement cycle.Experience handling high-volume employee separations.Comfortable working with large employee datasets and managing tight payroll/F&F timelines.Strong coordination skills with HR, finance, payroll, and business teams.Proactive, process-oriented, and highly detail-focused.Candidates from EdTech, technology, retail, BPO, BFSI, or other high-volume organizations will be preferred.
