Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Process Automation Engineer to drive the design, development, and demonstration of innovative industrial automation solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise in process automation with solution architecture, proof-of-concept (PoC) development, and customer engagement.
Process Automation & Control Systems
Design, configure, integrate, and support industrial automation systems
Develop control strategies and system architectures aligned with customer and business requirements.
Integrate control systems, operational technologies, and digital platforms to create scalable automation solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation and integration challenges.
Solution Design & Architecture
Translate customer requirements into practical and innovative automation solutions.
Design end-to-end architectures incorporating industrial control systems, software platforms, cloud services, analytics, and AI technologies.
Create architecture diagrams, technical presentations, and supporting documentation.
Proof of Concept (PoC) Development
Design, build, and validate proof-of-concept solutions and demonstration environments.
Develop cases that showcase operational improvements, business value, and technical feasibility.
Configure and integrate multiple technologies to simulate real-world industrial scenarios.
Present and demonstrate solutions to customers, partners, and executive stakeholders.
Convert successful PoCs into scalable production-ready solutions.

PLC & SCADA (i.e. Siemens S7/TIA Portal, Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, GE Digital, Ignition SCADA, AVEVA Wonderware)
Safety Systems (i.e. IEC 61508, IEC 61511, Functional Safety Concepts, SIS and ESD Design)
Industrial Communications (i.e. OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Foundation Fieldbus, HART)

Cybersecurity (i.e. ISA/IEC 62443, OT Network Architecture, Industrial Cybersecurity Best Practices)
(External) English Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Automation, Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, Control Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in industrial automation and process control projects.
Proven experience designing and delivering automation solutions in industrial environments.
Experience working directly with customers and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
