Role Description The Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of retail and/or corporate customers. This role involves building long-term relationships, understanding customer financial needs, and recommending appropriate lending, insurance, and wealth advisory products. Day-to-day activities include meeting clients, onboarding new customers, handling queries and service requests, and ensuring timely resolution of issues to maintain high satisfaction levels. The Relationship Manager will collaborate with internal teams to process applications, monitor accounts, drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines. The role also requires regular tracking of performance metrics, preparing reports, and contributing to local marketing or customer engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong customer relationship management, client servicing, and account management skills.Sales and business development capabilities, including cross-selling, upselling, and target achievement.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customer segments.Basic financial product knowledge across lending, insurance, and investment/wealth advisory solutions.Analytical and problem-solving abilities for assessing customer needs and resolving issues effectively.Comfort with CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and digital customer engagement platforms.Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field; prior NBFC or banking experience is an advantage.High level of integrity, customer-centric mindset, and willingness to work from the Surat location on-site.
