Branch Manager - GL West

Job Summary

This position is open with Bajaj Finance Limited.

Responsibilities

Responsible for overall branch operations and the performance and profitability of the branch.

Drive and participate in field-marketing activities of various financial products along with the team to improve brand visibility.

Plan, conduct, and monitor the branch field-level marketing activities to ensure a healthy pipeline of leads resulting in business conversion and branch growth.

Focus on customer engagement for new customer acquisitions and retention of old customers.

Conduct error-free valuation appraisal of gold ornaments pledged in the branch with correct weight and purity assessment as per company policy and audit compliance.

Joint custodian of the Vault with responsibility for safekeeping of pledged securities as per company policies.

Responsible for keeping NPAs in control through strong follow-ups with customers for interest collections.

Good planning abilities are required for smooth functioning of the branch and for developing cohesiveness within the company and co-workers.

Hiring, coaching, mentoring, and training employees and providing them with timely feedback on their performance.

Maintaining quality performance of the business, preparing various reports of the same and taking necessary actions for growth of business in the branch.

Increase Gold Loan business, plus various other third-party products i.e., NCDs, Gold Coins sale, etc.

Responsible for correct valuation maintenance of 100% process compliance at the branch.

Required Qualifications and Experience

4-7 years of relevant experience required.

Bachelor's Degree / Post-graduation Degree preferred.

Previous experience in gold loan banking, gold loan products, management or client service preferred.

Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
