We are looking for a passionate and experienced PYP Grade 3 Homeroom Teacher with strong expertise in English to join our primary school team.

The successful candidate will create an engaging, inquiry-driven and student-centred learning environment, with a strong focus on English language, literacy, communication, critical thinking and conceptual understanding.

Job Description

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate and inquiry-based learning experiences aligned with the IB PYP framework.Take responsibility for the overall teaching and learning of a Grade 3 class.Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, vocabulary and comprehension skills.Design meaningful English learning engagements that encourage creativity, communication and critical thinking.Integrate English learning across Units of Inquiry and transdisciplinary learning.Develop students' ability to express ideas clearly through written, verbal and multimedia communication.Use differentiated teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.Promote student agency, voice, choice and ownership of learning.Integrate appropriate technology and digital resources to enhance teaching and learning.Participate in school events, professional development, workshops and co-curricular activities.Demonstrate commitment to the IB Learner Profile, international-mindedness and student wellbeing.
