Job Purpose
We are seeking a Product Manager to support execution of AI-led, SaaS-based products. The role will focus on assisting in product delivery, collaborating with Engineering, Design, and Business stakeholders, and ensuring timely execution of product requirements. The Product Manager will contribute to requirement definition, stakeholder alignment, and data-driven decision support across the product lifecycle. Duties and Responsibilities
1. Product Execution & Lifecycle Support (Core)
Support execution of the product lifecycle across requirement gathering, development, and release stages.
Assist in translating business needs into product requirements.
Ensure alignment between business goals and execution priorities.
2. Requirements & Product Definition
Assist in gathering, analysing, and documenting requirements from customers, internal stakeholders, and market inputs.
Contribute to creation of user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
Support prioritisation activities under guidance of senior product stakeholders.
3. Design & User Experience Collaboration
Work closely with UI/UX designers to review user flows and usability considerations.
Provide inputs to improve product experience based on feedback and observations.
Ensure consistency in product features and user interactions.
4. Engineering & Delivery Execution
Partner with Engineering teams within the SDLC / PDLC framework in an Agile / Scrum environment.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
Track progress and support resolution of dependencies and blockers.
5. Stakeholder Management & Communication
Collaborate with Business, Engineering, and Design teams to ensure clarity on requirements and timelines.
Communicate progress updates, risks, and deliverables to stakeholders.
Support alignment across cross-functional teams.
6. Metrics & Performance Tracking
Assist in defining and tracking basic product performance metrics.
Analyse product usage data to support decision-making.
Provide inputs for continuous improvement based on data and feedback.
Key Decisions / Dimensions
Feature prioritisation and roadmap trade-offs.
Go / No-Go decisions for releases.
Scope and sequencing decisions based on impact, effort, and risk.
Major Challenges
Balancing competing stakeholder priorities while protecting product integrity.
Driving clarity and alignment in ambiguous or evolving problem spaces.
Shipping high-quality outcomes in fast-paced, iterative environments.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Educational Qualifications
B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline from institutes such as SRM, VIT, or other AIEEE-tier colleges preferred
MBA / PGDM from a recognised institution (preferred)
Skills
Strong understanding of SDLC / PDLC
Familiarity with Agile / Scrum environments
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
Working knowledge of data analysis and interpretation
Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Basic understanding of technology fundamentals and AI landscape
