Job Title: Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Your Role:

Strong understanding of physics and hand calculation of the mechanical components for deciding strength, stiffness etc.

Good Understanding of interfacing of Mechanical components with electrical components and software.

Selection of the shelf component such as like Motors, belts , pulleys, Ball screw.

Hands on Experience in Matlab, Simulink, Simscape.

Hands on experience in structural design(Ansys or equivalent), CAD(Creo and Equivalent), Windchill PDM / PLM for managing lifecycle of the components.

Knowledge in manufacturability considerations for Plastic, Sheetmetal, Casting Components.

Experience in conducting verification and experimental testing at components / subsystem level.

Identifying the suitable material, apply DFM/DFA concepts in design.

Experience with standard NPI / NPD process: Ideation to Industrialization.

Familiar with latest engineering design and methods, tools, and processes

Experience in Medical Device development and knowledge of IEC 60601 standards will be an added advantage.

Disciplined team worker, ability to work independently with timely guidance.

Result oriented team player.

Excellent communication skills and Positive ‘can do’ attitude.

Quality mindset in design and documentation.

Completed Engineering studies at University level; BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.

5+ years of experience in design & development of system/subsystem having plastic molded and sheet-metal components
