About Team

We count on our site reliability engineers (SREs) to empower users with a rich feature set, high availability, and stellar performance level to pursue their missions. As we expand customer deployments, we’re seeking an experienced SRE to deliver insights from massive-scale data in real time. Specifically, we’re searching for someone who has fresh ideas and a unique viewpoint, and who enjoys collaborating with a cross-functional team to develop real-world solutions and positive user experiences for every interaction.

What you will be doing

Understanding project KPIs, SLI's, SLO's, MTTD, MTTR, Error budgets, Chaos engineering and eliminating TOILs by automation

Exploring observability tools and creating/implementing dashboards

Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health

Incident Management: Knowledge in handling incidents, participating in blameless postmortem, performing root cause analysis, and implementing post-incident reviews.

Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutions

Develop scripts to reduce toil and automate repetitive tasks, issues resolution scripting.

Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating for continual improvement

Implementing various development, testing, automation tools

Setting up tools and required infrastructure

Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs

Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)

Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management

Recreates client issues in test environment, Identifies/documents how applications and systems interact to support business processes.

Interpersonal skills and technical product knowledge and expertise are critical to responding to daily Client-centric activities.

Writes technical specifications and other forms of documentation.

Understanding the business impact of reliability and performance issues.

Understanding of networking concepts, OSI, TCP/IP layers and protocols, as well as experience with network troubleshooting.

What you bring:

Essential Experience:

Fluent in spoken and written English

Flexible to work in cross function team

Experience of supporting live systems or other experience of working with and troubleshooting software in a business setting

Desirable Experience:

Financial markets knowledge

Experience of working in distributed systems – Linux, Windows

Essential Technical Skills:

Experience in supporting Unix/Linux/Windows based application environments

Knowledge of any RDBMS/NoSql

Good knowledge of application support domain

Worked on/with System and Application Monitoring and Observability tools – Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace.

Experience with 3rd party tools Management.

Hands on experience in preparing PowerShell/Python/Shell script automation.

Exposure to latest SRE, Cloud, DevOps technologies. Also, Knowledge of Containers, Dockers, Kubernetes/OpenShift tools.

Skills in using tools like Terraform & Ansible to automate infrastructure management.
