Full job description

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.

Build responsive, high-performance, and scalable applications for Android and iOS.

Translate UI/UX designs, wireframes, and prototypes into functional mobile interfaces.

Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and a consistent user experience.

Develop reusable and scalable components following best coding practices.

Integrate REST APIs, third-party APIs, SDKs, and external services.

Implement navigation, authentication, push notifications, deep linking, and other mobile functionalities.

Optimise application performance, responsiveness, and overall user experience.

Debug and resolve application issues across different devices and OS versions.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.

Perform unit testing and support application testing and bug fixing.

Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Developers, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions and architecture decisions.

Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Requirements:

Strong hands-on experience with React Native.

Good knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.

Strong understanding of mobile application development for Android and iOS.

Experience implementing UI/UX designs in mobile applications.

Good understanding of responsive layouts, animations, gestures, and mobile design principles.

Experience with REST APIs and JSON.

Good knowledge of Git and version control.

Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Context API.

Understanding of mobile app performance optimisation and debugging.

Experience with Firebase, push notifications, analytics, or crash reporting will be an advantage.

Knowledge of Android/iOS build and deployment processes.

Good understanding of mobile security and authentication mechanisms.
