Senior Specialist – SCADA Design & Engineering

As a Senior Specialist in SCADA Design & Engineering, you sit at the heart of that mission. You shape how renewable energy assets are monitored, controlled, and optimized — from solar and wind to BESS and hybrid plants. Your expertise directly powers the performance of clean energy infrastructure across India and beyond.

What You'll Do

Lead the engineering design, deployment, and lifecycle management of SCADA and control systems across renewable energy assets.

Review and validate SCADA architecture, SLDs, tag lists, and data models from EPC contractors and OEMs against ENGIE standards.

Assess OT network designs and communication protocols including IEC 104, IEC 61850, Modbus, OPC, and DNP3.

Prepare technical specifications and tender documentation for PV, Wind, BESS, Hybrid, and substation projects.

Lead and support FAT and SAT activities, ensuring data accuracy, tag integrity, and telemetry performance.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with IT teams on cybersecurity and infrastructure upgrades.

Coordinate with Project Managers, Electrical Engineering, IT, and external suppliers across all project phases.

What You Bring

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (BE/BTech or equivalent, full-time).

10 to 12 years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably in renewable energy environments.

Strong expertise in SCADA documentation including SLDs, point lists, relay schemes, and architecture drawings.

In-depth knowledge of OT communication protocols, cybersecurity principles, and Power Plant Controllers (PPC).

Exposure to BESS integration, hybrid plant control logic, and storage SCADA systems.

Working knowledge of Python, Power BI, and digital or AI-based integrations.

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to deliver under pressure.

Location

Pune, India. Remote work may also be considered. Working arrangement is flexible and will be discussed during the recruitment process.
