Job Title: AWS Devops Platform Architect (AWS Cloud Platform and Networking)

Job Description:

As a AWS Devops Platform Architect specialising in AWS Control Tower and Landing Zone, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing secure and scalable cloud environments as well as managing network infrastructure. You will leverage AWS best practices to ensure compliance, connectivity, security, and operational efficiency across multiple accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Implementation: Architect and deploy AWS Control Tower and Landing Zone solutions to establish a secure and compliant multi-account environment.

Security and Compliance: Implement Service Control Policies (SCPs) and guardrails to enforce governance, security, and compliance across AWS accounts1.

Automation: Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline the setup and management of AWS environments.

Monitoring and Optimisation: Monitor cloud infrastructure, identify performance bottlenecks, and optimise resource utilisation.

Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and processes.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver cloud solutions that meet business needs.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to AWS Control Tower and Landing Zone implementations

Network Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts and tools for network configuration, management, and monitoring.

Infrastructure as Code: Utilise Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar to automate network provisioning and management.

Qualifications:

Experience: Proven experience as Architect in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS services and multi-account environments. (9-14 Years)

Skills:

Proficiency in AWS Control Tower and Landing Zone setup and management

Proficiency in network protocols, routing, and switching.

Strong understanding of AWS security best practices and compliance frameworks.

Experience with automation tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar.

Knowledge of networking, identity management, and access control in AWS.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.

Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
