About Team

We count on our site reliability engineers (SREs) to empower users with a rich feature set, high availability, and stellar performance level to pursue their missions. As we expand customer deployments, we’re seeking an experienced SRE to deliver insights from massive-scale data in real time. Specifically, we’re searching for someone who has fresh ideas and a unique viewpoint, and who enjoys collaborating with a cross-functional team to develop real-world solutions and positive user experiences for every interaction.

What You Will Be Doing

Understanding project KPIs, SLI's, SLO's, MTTD, MTTR, Error budgets, Chaos engineering and eliminating TOILs by automationExploring observability tools and creating/implementing dashboardsRun the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system healthIncident Management~ Knowledge in handling incidents, participating in blameless postmortem, performing root cause analysis, and implementing post-incident reviewsImprove reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solutionsDevelop scripts to reduce toil and automate repetitive tasks, issues resolution scriptingMeasure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating for continual improvementImplementing various development, testing, automation toolsSetting up tools and required infrastructureMonitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIsStrive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the managementRecreates client issues in test environment, Identifies/documents how applications and systems interact to support business processesInterpersonal skills and technical product knowledge and expertise are critical to responding to daily Client-centric activitiesWrites technical specifications and other forms of documentationUnderstanding the business impact of reliability and performance issuesUnderstanding of networking concepts, OSI, TCP/IP layers and protocols, as well as experience with network troubleshootingManaging Risk as an SRE

What You Bring

Essential Experience~

Fluent in spoken and written EnglishFlexible to work in cross function teamExperience of supporting live systems or other experience of working with and troubleshooting software in a business setting

Desirable Experience

Financial markets knowledgeExperience of working in distributed systems – Linux, Windows

Essential Technical Skills

Experience in supporting Unix/Linux/Windows based application environmentsKnowledge of any RDBMS/NoSqlGood knowledge of application support domainWorked on/with System and Application Monitoring and Observability tools – Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, DynatraceExperience with 3rd party tools ManagementHands on experience in preparing PowerShell/Python/Shell script automationExposure to latest SRE, Cloud, DevOps technologies. Also, Knowledge of Containers, Dockers, Kubernetes/OpenShift toolsSkills in using tools like Terraform & Ansible to automate infrastructure management
