About The Team

As a Senior Full Stack Java Developer, you will join a high-performing engineering team delivering innovative Supply Chain Finance solutions that enhance FIS’s financial services platform. You will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications while collaborating closely with product, architecture, and engineering teams. Success in this role requires strong full-stack development expertise, a passion for software craftsmanship, and the ability to deliver secure, high-quality solutions in an agile environment. You will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements refinement to deployment and continuous improvement.

What You Will Be Doing

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, and HibernateBuild scalable microservices and RESTful APIs that support business-critical financial workflowsImplement secure authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Spring SecurityCreate comprehensive unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito to ensure application reliabilityApply SOLID principles, design patterns, and test-driven development practices to deliver maintainable codeCollaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutionsOptimize application performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues across distributed systemsParticipate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiativesDevelop database-driven solutions utilizing SQL and PL/SQL for efficient data management and integrationSupport containerized application deployments using Docker and contribute to modern DevOps practices
