What You Will Do

We are seeking an Experienced Anaplan Model Builder to design, build, and maintain high-quality Anaplan models that support enterprise planning processes. This role will focus on delivering scalable, accurate, and user-friendly solutions across financial forecasting, commercial planning, and workforce planning. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into robust Anaplan models, ensuring best practices and performance optimization.

How You Will Do It

Model Building & Design

Develop and maintain Anaplan models using best practices for modularity, performance, and scalability.Translate business requirements into technical solutions within Anaplan.Implement calculation logic, dashboards, and workflows that enhance user experience.

Data Integration

Configure and manage data imports/exports between Anaplan and source systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, HR platforms).Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all models.

Performance Optimization

Monitor model performance and apply optimization techniques to improve calculation speed and efficiency.Manage workspace utilization and maintain compliance with governance standards.

Collaboration & Support

Partner with business teams to gather requirements and provide functional support.Assist with SIT, UAT, troubleshooting, and post-deployment support.

Documentation & Standards

Maintain clear documentation for models, processes, and data flows.Adhere to established modelling standards, naming conventions, and governance frameworks.

Continuous Improvement

Stay updated on Anaplan platform enhancements and incorporate new features where applicable.Contribute to the Anaplan product team governance structure and share best practices.

Required

What we look for

Minimum 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Anaplan model building.Strong understanding of Anaplan best practices, including modular design and ALM.Experience with data integration and ETL processes.Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills for working with technical and business stakeholders.Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Preferred

Certified Anaplan Model Builder or higher (Solution Architect, Master Anaplanner).Experience with Commercial functions - Quota Setting , Territory planning and Sales Capacity managementExperience with integration tools, data management tools (e.g. CloudWorks Informatica, MuleSoft, Fivetran).Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, The Anaplan Way).Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.
