About the Role:
If you’re looking for a role with variety, this is it. As a National Key Account Manager your main focus will be to drive sales development across a number of clients. You’ll work alongside the head of Accounts to build brilliant relationships with a breadth of clients define sales strategies, targets, programs, commercial initiatives and promotional policies.
Main Responsibilities:
Volume Delivery:
Responsible for the overall performance of assigned Modern Trade key accountsDeliver the overall sales objectives, supervises, fine-tunes and monitors the execution and to take pro-active initiatives to cease every opportunity to increase the sales in accordance with the companies’ policies and strategiesHave the experience of managing Omni arm of MT accounts or exposure to Ecommerce channel to manage the online business too. Media and shopper journey understanding on Omni would be preferred
Develop business plan:
Work closely with category Managers in making volume plansPlanning visibility, activations for festivals & events for each brand as per the category plansPrepare plans on the spends needed for each chain with Channel ManagerSeasonal Excellence – Drive seasonal Business and execution
Negotiation with MT Chains for TOT & JBP
Developing a tactical bridge to help support the shiftWork the plan month on month for achievement of numbers plannedJBP & TOT Closure
Developing people
Identifying high potential people in the team and continuously mentor themEvaluating them on the requirements of the next levelProvide on the job training as well as classroom training on periodic basis
Managing spends in MT chains
Tracking activities for
Sales hence ROI
Promo Management
In-store execution (Availability, visibility & activations)
Work with logistics to plan, analyze, and forecast customer's needs and to ensure on-time and complete deliveryCoordinate with Category Manager on visibility /activation executionWork closely with NSOM to ensure Availability and Fill Rates
About You:
Min. Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or Marketing At least 3 years’ experience in similar roles as KAM with an exposure to Omni part of the channel accounts Fluency in English Proven sales experience with a track record of hitting targets Experience in category, customer and channel marketing Knowledge of commercial and office software (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint) Knowledge of the P&L
