How You Will Do It
Design intuitive and creative learning or performance support tools and sales programsDevelop training with an emphasis on innovative learning and performance support that could be used globallyApply what you know about adult learning and share what you learn along the way with the rest of the teamUse strong project management skills in developing outcomes that positively impact the businessWork very closely with team members who will develop your designsPartner and collaborate with Commercial (Sales) focused learning experience designers (peers) located across the globeDriven curation strategies that pull content from multiple sources across our learning ecosystemDrive in depth discovery and needs analysis with stakeholder and learner interviewsAct as an internal consultant and combine multiple perspectives into holistic solutions that maximize the impact on the businessCreate and support a strong global team environmentEngage commercial partners and stakeholders to develop capability building programsParticipate in organizational development exercises including group facilitation, team building, and systems analysisMaintain current knowledge of trends and issues in instructional design and trainingUnderstand technology to effectively design your learning and performance support toolsLeverage innovative learning technologies and platforms to deploy learning, including the Johnson Controls Workday Learning platform.Establish measurement and evaluation plans that include key business metrics and return on investment strategies

Experience:5-10 years of designing and developing learning solutions preferred (exposure to Commercial / Sales, Industrial Tech B2B solutions preferred)5+ years of experience in Instructional Design and storyboarding, working for the Training & eLearning industryAt least 1-2 years of experience in stakeholder communicationEducation:Holds a bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, and Education or Graduate or PG from a recognized universityDemonstrates certain levels of proficiency in evaluations, Kirkpatrick model, Philips ROI model, ADDIE, Agile, cultural, and regional adjustments, change management, and adult learning theoryTechnical: JCI’s product and services portfolio is complex, so we need someone who is quick to grasp how building environments are created and business lines organized. Don’t worry, we’ll help you with that!Quality: Produces content and materials with the highest polish when required, but knows when to create fast and informalProfessional: Has personal ethics, does quality work, and has a positive attitudeArticulate: Has strong writing and communication skills
