What is the purpose of the job?

Monitor and improve the Global Invoice to pay process to gain efficiency and effectiveness.Direct, lead and drive operations & ensure alignment with I2P Operations Strategy.Develop and implement strategies to improve process productivityChallenge the status quo and make fact-based recommendations to drive process improvements and defines best in class process solutionsCoach, direct & lead I2P operations managers at Syngenta Global Finance operationsEmbed continuous improvement & data driven decision culture.Establish governance process to create appropriate mitigation strategies for operational risks.Engage with Business partners to evolve Operations strategies on need basis and review operational efficiency.Monitor process and operational KPIs to ensure is effectively delivering against Syngenta Global targets and internal and external benchmarks Initiate and lead innovation, continuous improvement and proof-of-concept initiatives to continually improve service performance or address emerging/unmet customer needsSupport the resolution of critical global service issues and challenges, ensuring appropriate engagement of organizational leadership and escalate if needed Provide input and support on multiple tactical process and technology initiatives with the view to realize the longer-term overall vision of Invoice to Pay.Support the change management strategy to effectively implement new technologies & ways of working.Conceive and implement strategy for Proactive attrition management, talent retention & development, upskilling, cross training, process risk assessment & mitigationsRoll out a Capability Framework to leverage the essential capabilities in the organization to sustain the delivery of operational excellence and a high continuous improvement mindset

Collaboration: Collaborate with Global I2P operation, Business partners, Digital finance, Process Governance, financial compliance to deliver best in class business service. Speaks-up proactively during discussions and influences team thinking, establishing strong relationships to ensure they feel valued and appreciated.

Technology Awareness: Strong Digital Awareness and IT Innovation skillset to understand new technologies and drive the solutions for I2P improvements. Leverages agile way of work and bring new and innovative ways to operate, adding more value to business.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree additionally holds professional Qualification: MBA / CA / ICWA or equivalent Fluent in English15+ years of relevant experience in the Finance process with a focus on the Global Procure to Pay domain and an excellent understanding of shared services setup and delivery and process transformationPrior experience to set up and run Global Accounts Payable or Source to Pay as a centralized functionProven ability to lead teams through process improvements and implementation of standardized processes throughout large organizationsPrevious experience of managing global client or internal stakeholdersExperience working in roles supporting global projectsCompleted Lean, Opex / Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred).Demonstrates deep functional Finance shared services expertiseDeep understanding of Global Procure to Pay domainAbility to provide insights to streamline and simplify processes and deliver valueAbility to multi-task and prioritize within a fast-paced, demanding environmentComfort with ambiguity and willingness to embrace an iterative processFundamental knowledge and experience in design and analysis of business processes and systems.Ability to independently resolve complex issues/problemsStrong influencing skills and ability to get stakeholder buy-in for initiatives and projectsExperience with Finance processes enabled by ERP and AI-based technologiesTrack record of compliance, culture maintenance and enforcementLeading large and diverse team with strong performance management and talent development skills

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge of automation technology in Accounts payable areaCertification in Change management, Design Thinking, CoachingExperience of driving process improvements based on insights from process mining
