CA Industrial Trainee – Record to Report (R2R)SKF Industrial LimitedLocation: PuneAbout the OpportunitySKF Industrial Limited is seeking a highly motivated CA Industrial Trainee to join its Finance & Accounting team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical exposure to end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) processes in a listed manufacturing company, providing valuable experience in financial accounting, reporting, compliance, controls, and month-end closing activities.The trainee will work closely with experienced finance professionals and gain exposure to corporate accounting practices, financial statements, audit requirements, and business finance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Month-End and Year-End ClosingSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.Prepare and post journal vouchers (JVs) and adjustment entries.Assist in timely closure of books and adherence to reporting timelines.Review general ledger accounts and analyse variances.

Accruals, Provisions and Accounting EntriesPrepare monthly accruals and provisions.Support accounting for prepaid expenses and amortisation.Ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting records.Assist in expense analysis and account reconciliations.

General Ledger and Trial Balance ReviewMonitor and analyse General Ledger transactions.Perform Trial Balance review and identify unusual movements.Support account balance validations and balance sheet substantiation.

Financial ReportingAssist in preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.Participate in financial reporting activities in compliance with Ind AS requirements.Support preparation of schedules and disclosures for reporting purposes.

Bank and Balance Sheet ReconciliationsPerform bank reconciliations and follow-up on open items.Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ageing analyses.Assist in clearing reconciling items and ensuring accounting accuracy.

Audit and ComplianceSupport statutory audit, internal audit, and other compliance requirements.Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.Assist in implementation and monitoring of financial controls.

Process ExcellenceParticipate in process improvement and automation initiatives.Support standardisation and strengthening of accounting processes.Work with ERP-based accounting systems and reporting tools.

EligibilityCA student eligible for Industrial Training as per ICAI guidelines.Strong understanding of Accounting, Financial Reporting and Corporate Finance concepts.Good knowledge of journal entries, financial statements and reconciliations.Proficiency in MS Excel; SAP knowledge will be an added advantage.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
