About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Manual Testing, API Testing, and Message Queue (MQ) validation. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in the Capital Markets domain, along with hands-on expertise in Python and Selenium automation. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of mission-critical financial applications through comprehensive testing strategies and automation solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

Analyze business and functional requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test casesPerform end-to-end Manual Testing for web-based and distributed applicationsValidate message processing through IBM MQ or equivalent Message Queue technologiesDesign, execute, and maintain API test cases using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or REST AssuredParticipate in requirement reviews, defect triage meetings, and release planning activitiesDevelop and maintain automation frameworks using Python and Selenium WebDriverCreate reusable automation scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelinesInvestigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with development teams for resolutionEnsure test coverage across functional, integration, system, and regression testing phasesValidate trade lifecycle workflows and market data processing within Capital Markets applicationsPrepare test execution reports, quality metrics, and release sign-off documentationMentor junior QA engineers and contribute to QA best practices and process improvements

Required Qualifications

Testing

Strong experience in Manual TestingExperience in Functional, Integration, System, and Regression TestingHands-on experience with Defect Management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps

API Testing

Strong knowledge of REST APIsExperience with Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, or similar API testing toolsAbility to validate JSON/XML payloads and backend integrations

MQ Testing

Hands-on experience with IBM MQ, JMS, Kafka, or similar messaging technologiesAbility to validate message flows, queues, topics, and asynchronous processing

Automation

Strong programming skills in PythonExtensive hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriverExperience in designing and maintaining automation frameworksKnowledge of PyTest, Unittest, or Robot Framework is preferred

Capital Markets Domain

Strong understanding of Capital Markets conceptsExperience in~EquitiesFixed IncomeDerivativesTrade LifecycleOrder Management Systems (OMS)Market Data ProcessingClearing & SettlementRegulatory Reporting

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsKnowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOpsExperience with SQL and database validationExposure to performance testing tools is an added advantageISTQB Certification is preferred

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
