We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist

In This Role, You Will:

Lead the design, development and deployment of applications using a combination of cloud-native, 3rd party, and on-premise technologies. Service Ownership: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of applications, ensuring robust, secure, and compliant service delivery. Operational Excellence: Monitor service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance metrics for application working proactively to resolve any issues. Incident & Problem Management: Oversee incident resolution and root cause analysis for applications, ensuring swift resolution and implementing preventive measures. Service Improvements: Lead initiatives to enhance system performance, reliability, and customer experience, including process automation and integration with emerging technologies.

In This Role, You Will:

A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a Development Engineer Proficient in Unix Shell Scripting Proficiency in technology [Oracle, SQL/PLSQL , PostGreSQL or MS/SQL] . Proficiency in designing, developing, and deploying solutions using automated tools like Jenkins and Ansible. Proficiency in various scheduling mechanisms (Control-M, Corn Jobs) , both on-premise and cloud-based. A strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices, including code optimization, scalability, and performance. Experience of end to end software application lifecycle including Disaster recovery and other non functional requirements Strong leadership, prioritization, communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team. Ownership-driven and detail-oriented. Familiarity with Confluence, JIRA, and ServiceNow.

Additional Skills:

Backend engineering skills using Spring Boot, Liberty/TomCat, Microservices, and AWS. Proven AWS experience as AWS infra dev ops Industry recognised certification related to required skills
