Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Consulting Architect – Automation to lead automation-led transformation initiatives across enterprise customers. This role requires deep expertise in designing and delivering scalable automation solutions, conducting customer-facing workshops, and executing complex integrations across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth with consulting capability, enabling them to translate business requirements into robust, production-grade automation architectures.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & WorkshopsLead automation discovery and design workshops with enterprise customersTranslate business and operational requirements into automation roadmaps and solution architectures Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders across customer’s IT, DevOps, and platform teams Solution Architecture & DesignDesign end-to-end automation frameworks leveraging:Nutanix Self-Service PlatformAnsible for configuration management and orchestrationTerraform for infrastructure provisioningDefine reusable automation blueprints, modular workflows, and governance standardsArchitect integrations across cloud, virtualization, and enterprise toolchains Implementation & DeliveryLead and execute complex deployments and integrations across:Hybrid cloud platforms (Nutanix, AWS, Azure, etc.)CI/CD ecosystems (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps)Develop and optimize infrastructure-as-code and automation pipelines Troubleshoot and resolve complex deployment and orchestration issues Automation DevelopmentBuild and maintain automation using scripting languages such as:PythonPowerShellDevelop custom modules, plugins, and integrations where requiredEnsure automation solutions are scalable, secure, and reusable Best Practices & EnablementEstablish automation standards, governance, and best practices Mentor consultants and engineers on automation frameworks and tools Contribute to internal assets such as playbooks, accelerators, and reference architectures

Required Qualifications

10–15 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, and automationProven experience in:Designing and delivering enterprise automation solutions Conducting customer-facing workshops and technical discussions Leading complex deployments and integrations

Technical Expertise

Core Skills (Must-Have)

Strong hands-on experience with:Nutanix Self-Service Platform or equivalentAnsibleTerraformExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices API integrations and REST-based automationProficiency in at least one scripting language:Python or PowerShell

Good-to-Have

Exposure to container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift)Knowledge of ITSM integrations (e.g., ServiceNow)

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent discipline.

Terraform Certified AssociateRed Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or ProfessionalPython-related certifications or demonstrable contributions to automation frameworksVMware Certified Professional – Cloud Management and Automation 2024 (VCP-CMA 2024)

Location & Work Shifts

Pune / BangaloreTravel as required for customer assignmentsReady to work in US and EMEA shifts, as per assignments.
