The role

Responsibilities
Job Description
Perform both manual and automated testing across mobile platforms (iPhone and Android) to ensure high-quality application releases and optimal user experiencePerform hands-on mobile QA testing across manual, automated, and AI-assisted testing workflowsWrite and communicate clear, concise test cases, test scenarios, and detailed defect reports for iOS and Android devicesExecute, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts while identifying opportunities to improve regression efficiency and automation coverageUtilize AI-driven tools and intelligent testing solutions to support test design, defect analysis, and test execution activitiesContribute to automation script reviews and support continuous improvement of QA processes and testing practicesCollaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and QA teams during test planning and execution to ensure proper test coverage and quality validationProvide testing estimates, communicate test progress, report quality metrics, and participate in project reviews to ensure deliverables meet Product Quality standardsSupport team knowledge sharing and contribute to QA best practices, automation initiatives, and process improvementsBecome a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the product domain and application workflowsTranslate business and technical requirements into scalable manual and automated test cases/scriptsPromote quality assurance best practices including automation-first testing, risk-based testing, and shift-left quality approachesPerform data analysis, data validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis activitiesReport project/test execution metrics, automation coverage, defect trends, and release quality indicatorsSupport release readiness activities and contribute to overall product quality and deployment confidence
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field8+ years of experience supporting or testing enterprise-level software product releasesStrong knowledge of software testing best practices, Agile methodologies, and QA processesExperience with mobile automation frameworks such as Appium, Selenium WebDriver, Test Lab, or other industry-leading automation solutionsExperience with AI-assisted QA tools, intelligent test generation, or AI-enabled testing workflows is a plusExperience with functional, regression, integration, API, and performance testing methodologiesExperience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar technologiesDemonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in on-shore and off-shore team environmentsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, data analysis, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced Agile environmentStrong technical aptitude, organizational skills, and time management capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExpertise with C#/.NET ecosystem and/or Java/JVM ecosystemExperience with relational databases, SQL, and data validation techniquesUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation integration, and cloud-based testing solutionsExperience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub ActionsExperience with Jira, Confluence, qTest Manager, Azure DevOps, and QA reporting toolsExperience with Sauce Labs or other cloud-based device testing platformsFamiliarity with GitHub Copilot or AI-powered developer/testing tools is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
