We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - SAP BW4HANA

We're seeking a skilled SAP BW/4HANA Consultant with strong ABAP expertise to join our dynamic team and enable data-driven financial planning within Siemens Mobility’s global commercial project planning application.

Design and optimize data models to deliver scalable data and reporting solutions that enable accurate financial forecasting and project performance tracking.You have full responsibility for design and development of individual Business Intelligence applications/reports based on BW/4 HANA.We count on your expertise while creating and maintaining complex data models and interfaces in challenging projects.You understand the requirements from our worldwide business stakeholders and create innovative solutions upon central SAP modules such as FI, CO, PS.Design, code, test, debug, document and support all types of data flows, views, web services and transformation procedures consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver maximum business value.Drive innovation initiatives by integrating SAP BW/4HANA with emerging platforms such as SAP BTP, Snowflake, and AI/ML services for advanced analytics and intelligent reporting.Develop and optimize data products that support self-service analytics, conversational BI, and AI-driven business insights across Finance, Controlling, and Project Systems domains.Promote AI-assisted development practices, leveraging modern tools for code generation, impact analysis, test automation, and productivity improvements.

You’ll Win Us Over By

5-10 years of work experience in areas like SAP BW, ABAP, Web Services, reporting tools like SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Analysis for Office.Understanding of modern data architectures involving Snowflake, Power BI, cloud platforms, and real-time data integration technologies.Interact with business stakeholders in requirement gathering, understanding business logic and creating end-to-end data models by building reports using reporting tools to help business making decisions swiftly.Strong experience in developing end to end SAP BW4HANA data models.Experience in integrating SAP and non-SAP data sources to enable enterprise-wide analytics and AI-driven decision-making.Well Versed in creation of BEx queries built on BW data models and aligning with business in creating reports using reporting tools.Experience in building new reports using state of the art BI front end technologies like SAP Analysis for Office, SAP Analytics Cloud and Power BI.Knowledge of modern data lake house architecture, Data Mesh concepts, and intelligent automation solutions.
