The SAP Procurement specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing our procurement processes through the strategic use of technology. This individual is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the solutions supporting the different procurement processes, such as SAP MM, SAP SRM7, SAP Ariba Commerce Automation. It is also a key player in the shaping of Syensqo’s future IT landscape.

We are looking for:

Specialist to design, build and maintain reliable and cost efficient IS solutions aligned with businesses and end-to-end process requirements of Procurement to PaySupport business and process experts in improving processes and tools currently in use in order to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency and compliance, including market watchHandle and provide best support requests and ensure business continuity

We count on you for:

Monitor & Support current SAP Account Payable applications (SAP FI-AP, KOFEX, Readsoft, XEROX):

Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issuesSupport End UsersMaintain up-to-date technical and user documentationCoordinate tasks with external providers of managed-servicesEnsure business continuity

Deploy, Enhance and Transform the Account payable IT landscape :

Identify opportunities to enhance the functionality and performance of existing procurement applicationsProvide technical guidanceRun projects from preparation to deliveryOptimize the integration between different applicationsContribute to projects related to deployment of existing applications, and to projects to build new applicationsDesign, test and build IS solutionsCollect and analyze functional requirements

You will interact with different key stakeholders on the business side and on the IT side:

Global business services, like Provisioning Manager, Service connection team leader and other Provisioning specialists, experts, etc. GBU Coordinators/key-usersIT experts from other functional or technical domainsArchitects & Cybersecurity leadsManaged-services providers (support,development, consulting services)Primarily work schedule will be CETBe available on-call on a rotating schedule to handle major issues outside of IST working hour

You will bring Competencies:

A minimum of 5 years of SAP SRM7 / MM / FI-AP configuration / Support experience in ERP 6.0 or aboveMust have at least one full lifecycle SAP R/3 implementation experience (Project Preparation to Go-Live/Hypercare)An experience in project management and in an international environment would be a plusMust have a solid experience with the SAP SRM7, SAP MM, including MM-IV - Logistic Invoice VerificationKnowledge of interfaces between MM and other SAP modules: FI, CO, PM, SDExperience with Readsoft and Ariba is a plusAble to read and understand ABAP codeExperience with LSMW, IDOCS, SAP Query & InterfacesAbility to analyze functional and technical needs, identifying gaps and alternative solutionsAbility to evaluate impact of configuration or process changesAbility to resolve configuration and functional business issuesAbility to write functional system specifications, as well as Business BluePrint documentsAbility to analyze functional and technical needs and identify gaps and alternative solutions relative to existing design.Ability to evaluate impact of configuration or process changes across MM and other SAP modules.

Education and experience*

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT procurement jobs; experience in the procurement function will also be considered.Demonstrable experience supporting SAP MM, FI-AP is essential. Knowledge of SAP Ariba Commerce Automation and Invoice Processing tools (ie Readsoft) is desirable; experience in S4 Hana is a plus.Experience in leading IT projects.Interface knowledge with SAP and Non-SAP systems.
