With a strong nationwide presence, Bajaj Finserv serves customers across the length and breadth of India, providing opportunities for growth and impact in the financial services sector.Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division, responsible for driving sales performance and achieving revenue and growth targets within assigned markets or product lines. The role includes developing and executing sales plans, managing sales pipelines, and tracking key performance metrics. The Sales Manager will lead, coach, and motivate a sales team, ensuring effective territory management, customer relationship building, and adherence to compliance and company policies. Daily activities include meeting prospective and existing customers, coordinating with internal stakeholders (such as operations and marketing), preparing sales reports, and providing market feedback to support product and strategy improvements.Qualifications Proven experience in sales management or business development within financial services, banking, or NBFCs.Strong skills in team leadership, performance management, and coaching to support high-performing sales teams.Ability to build and maintain customer relationships, negotiate effectively, and close sales opportunities.Competence in sales planning, target setting, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.Comfort with on-site work, field visits, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.High level of integrity, customer-centric mindset, and familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in financial services.
