Regional EHS Director SAMEA - Your future position?

As Regional EHS Director SAMEA, you’re responsible for ensuring effective management of the EHS aspects within the region. Functionally manage (dotted line) local EHS Managers of the region. Promote the EHS culture across the organisation.

Core Responsibilities

Regional implementation of Global EHS strategiesProvide the leadership and talent development of the regional teamEnsure all regional sites are and remain within compliance across the EHS dimensions (governmental and Givaudan EHS requirements)Regional deployment of appropriate EHS management systems, standards and toolsImplement global strategic EHS initiatives/programs within the regionResponsible for the supervision of environmental issuesEnsure EHS documentation within the region is up to dateImplement any regulatory EHS consequences within the regionManage EHS auditing/certifications and assurance programEnsure regional EHS legal compliance to Givaudan and statutory directivesMonitor EHS performance within the regionEnsure KPIs reporting is complete and accurateManage near miss/hazard/observation reports for the regionVerify corrective actions, as a results of incidents investigations, are documented and implemented in an efficient wayEnable EHS best practice exchanges and knowledge sharing between sitesTrack, review and take necessary action to drive continual EHS improvementEnsure adequate EHS staffing and knowledge at each siteManage/optimize the regional EHS organisation to deliver added value to the organisationCultivate and communicate compelling visionGain buy-in from key functions

Your professional profile includes

Academic Background

Master’s degree in chemistry, Engineering, EHS or other related field.

Professional Experience

15+ years EHS professional experience, including a minimum of 5 years in providing EHS support and expertise in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

Fluent English, other language a plus.Computer literacy.Experience in implementing and coordinating regulatory compliance programs.Experience in crisis management.Experience in providing and developing EHS training.
