Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Production Engineer role based in the Pune Division. The Production Engineer will oversee daily production activities, ensuring that manufacturing processes run safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling production, monitoring equipment performance, identifying process improvements, and coordinating with cross-functional teams such as quality, maintenance, and supply chain. The role involves analyzing production data, troubleshooting issues on the shop floor, and implementing corrective actions to meet output and cost targets. The Production Engineer will also support continuous improvement initiatives, documentation of processes, and adherence to safety and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Production Engineering skills, including knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial operations.Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for data-driven decision-making, problem-solving, and process optimization.Candidates should possess experience in Production Planning, scheduling, and coordination with internal teams and suppliers.Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, including familiarity with inspection methods, standards, and root cause analysis.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and clear reporting.Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (or a related field) are preferred.Experience in battery manufacturing, automotive, or EV-related production environments is an advantage.Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, and safety regulations is beneficial.
