Job Purpose
Responsible for Work Study, Capacity Analysis, Line Balancing, Layout Modification, Continuous improvement projects, CBS coordination, Productivity Monitoring, and improvement for regular production.
Responsible for input in term of new products run hours estimation and space identification and allocation within existing facility all the programs run by Product Development platform.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Cross-functional exposure - Candidate shall work to get understanding of overall scope of product to match the same in terms of Manufacturing Operation s resources, their competencies, infrastructure-facility capacity, and capabilities working closely with various functions like Engineering, Production, Quality, Sourcing/ Supply Chain, Purchasing.Knowledge/ Exposure of Industrial engineering tools for medium to Heavy industry of Welding, Painting, Assembly.Knowledge of MS Office, EBOM/MBOM and Make / Buy analysis as per plant capability.Part of cost reduction initiatives, Leana management & CI activities.Preferably have working knowledge on VSM, MOST technique and MDAT tool.Deployment of an integrated Daily-Weekly-Monthly Management/Operating System that drives incremental day to day performance improvement of the Key Performance Indicators (metrics) that are leading indicators of the financial performance of the business.Establish Leader Standard Work at all levels in the organization that drives operating reviews, problem solving, and continuous improvement activities to the core Value Streams that are tightly aligned to customers and the value drivers that will make them and us successful.
Experience Required
Minimum 10 - 15 years’ experience in the field of Industrial Engineering, Production systems, Plant Operations
Time Study/MOST
Preferred Qualifications
BE (Mechanical/Industrial Engineering) in Regular.
