General Information

As BU Quality Head, aim of this position is to drive the team in ensuring product and project quality that meets / beats the customer expecations and ensure customer delight, meet organizational targets, while focussing on continuous improvements

Your Key Responsibilities

Ensure products and services meet or exceed customer expectationsMonitor customer feedback, complaints, and warranty issues to drive improvementsEnsure compliance with standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949,..Implement preventive measures to reduce defects, non-conformities, and quality issues.Apply tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and Root Cause AnalysisLead initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and problem-solving methodologiesImprove process efficiency, and product reliabilityIdentify quality risks across the value chain & develop risk mitigation planImprove overall profitability by minimizing quality-related lossesSupport plant Q teamEnsure adherence to legal, customer, and safety requirements & support auditsPromote a culture where quality is everyone's responsibilityDevelop team - Train and coach team on quality standards and best practices

Your Qualifications

Bachelors / Masters degree in Engineering --> Mechanical / Electrical / ElectronicsExperience in Automotive Industry specifically focussing on Electronic controls - more than 15+ yearsExperience in handling OEMs; Handling 2W OEMs will be an added advantageHands on experiece on Quality process methods and toolsGood understanding of System knowledge (Hardware, Electronics, Software, Integration..) will be added advantageExperience on leading a small to mid size teamWorking in global environment with high intercultural sensitivity
