What You’ll Do

Position Overview:

The Manager Packaging CoE leads a team of Packaging Engineers to drive Packaging COE Strategy. Oversee packaging projects for new products, VA/VE, and establish specification library frameworks across Eaton businesses. Build relationships with stakeholders and factory teams, and coordinate with product engineering, Packaging Category, Product Stewardship COE, Logistics, Procurement and Product Life Cycle Management. Ensure KPIs are met consistently. Implement talent development strategies to ensure the team is consistently prepared for future challenges. Meet or exceed the goals set as per organizational priorities in each financial year.

This role is tasked with developing packaging strategies in coordination with global and regional category managers, supporting Global Eaton facilities in achieving their business objectives and priorities. The position oversees all varieties of packaging materials and designs.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma in Packaging/ Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution required. Advance competence in overall packaging design, manufacturing processes, testing & commissioning of projectsAdvance supply chain knowledgeAwareness of CreO, PLM, Artios CAD & CAPE softwaresExperience in leading & developing Teams

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 18 - 22 years of experience in packaging Engineering & management rolesMaster’s in business administrationStrong Business acumen Proficient in Data applications & systems
