TITLE: PROCESS EXPERT

The primary responsibility is to provide processing expertise to the UP’s in developing the manufacturing procedures by which the formulation are produced. Processes are established through working closely with Research and Innovation (R&I) and Corporate Quality (Pilot) to understand composition, specifications, risks and mitigating those risks. The Process and excellence Expert (PE) will process validate to ensure ability of the plant to produce within the specification provided using the process established. The PE will also use problem solving tools to support production unit in investigating non-conforming results and process optimization.

The Process and quality excellence lead will also take care of quality excellence role.

10-15 years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with processing equipment and writing manufacturing procedures and operating in quality excellence environment.

Key Job Accountabilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the listing below:

Process Management

Use of Quality Charts, control methods and standards (including the use of gages, instruments, personal computers and SPC tools) to determine cause and effect in quality problem solving;Collaborate with safety, operations, and quality to complete risk assessment to review and mitigate risks associated with new formula productionKnowledgeable of the Quality Manual, Quality Procedures, area work instructions, and test methods;Responsible for enduring testing performed by personnel is in compliance with DGO methods;Responsible for writing documents related to the Lab functions (work instructions, forms, etc.);Troubleshoots non-conformance in components, bulk and finished goods proposes solutions;Good knowledge of ISO and GMP requirements;Ensure DGO/GMP compliance of UP by performing routine audits.Manages non-conformance/blocked lots of AC, PF, WIP, and Bulk;Interface between UP and provides input regarding corrective actions;Work to improve flow and efficiency of the laboratory;Perform Line validations;Manage OTC paperwork and investigation;Work with the UP to resolve production related issues;Issues rejects on non-conforming lots;Interact closely with processing/production on daily production needs;Has the ability to perform varying functions (components, bulk, finished goods, etc.) of the lab;Understand the urgency of the business, and is able to serve the UP in a timely manner;Uphold the values of the Compass;

Quality Excellence: Oversee the following mandates as part of quality excellence profile

FG release in SAP quality systemCompliances and CAPA managementMethods review & Communication about the changes to the sites, and implementation closure.Consumer compliant management systemHandling of regulatory mandatesMandatory documentations.

Required Experience/Training

Master’s or bachelor’s degree in science Passion for chemistry.Handson experience.Ability to learn statistical processes and Standard Operating ProceduresAbility to perform various technical operations, automated equipment and PC skills in the department and in the plantEnglish verbal and written skillsBasic math and statisticsEngineering approach to problem solving and strong training skills.Passion to bring in excellence in quality management process’s.
