Job SummaryThe Senior Software Requirements Engineer is responsible for deriving, specifying, and maintaining software requirements from approved system requirements for safety‑critical systems, including SIL‑2 and SIL‑4 applications. The role ensures that software requirements are correct, complete, traceable, and verifiable, in compliance with defined lifecycle processes and applicable safety and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDerive and document software requirements based on system requirementsCreate and maintain Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) for safety‑critical systemsEnsure requirements are unambiguous, testable, and audit‑readyMaintain bidirectional traceability between system requirements, software requirements, and verification artifactsParticipate in formal requirement reviews, safety reviews, and auditsPerform impact analysis for requirement changes under controlled configuration managementCollaborate with system engineering, development, testing, quality, and safety teamsProvide requirement evidence and traceability support during audits and assessmentsRequired Skills & Experience9+ years of experience in software requirements engineeringProven experience in SIL‑2 and/or SIL‑4 safety‑critical projectsStrong experience in System → Software requirement derivationGood understanding of V‑Model–based development lifecycleExperience with requirements / ALM tools (e.g., Polarion, DOORS, Jira)Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skillsPreferred DomainsAerospaceRailways / TransportationHealthcare / Medical SystemsEducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or Electronics & Telecommunication (E&TC) EngineeringYour success is grounded in:
