Lead Hardware Engineer is responsible for leading technical projects for Circuit Protection Devices and mentor product development team on technical competency development.

Lead Engineer will be responsible for overall Hardware design and development of Product to meet project schedule and budget. Provide technical solutions, follow defined processes & lead in product development & technology innovations.

Lead Engineer should understand Technology Trends, Define strategy and come up with solutions that provides competetive advantage.

Main focus of Lead Hardware Engineer is Electronics Hardware Development for Motor Control Products (VFDs, Relays,..) Demonstrated product execution from concept through commercialization on at least 4 projects of medium to high technical complexity involving concept generation, POC, verification, validation and certification as per global standards. Experience must include hand on experience with design of products from concept to commercialization including PCB design, component selection, schematics creation & evaluation and product testing/ prototype development. Should have sound technical knowledge and experience in design and development of electronic products with Circuit protection Functionality Such as Breakers, Fuses, Relays, Switchgears and Contactors etc.as per product standards such as UL, IEC & NEC. Demonstrated ability to technically lead product team independently & work with cross functional teams to provide business solutions. Should have ability to influence and drive people / activities & decission making on complex technical issues. Extensive experience of full Hardware development life cycle including requirements management, design, development, verification & validation, qualification & certification testing in Electrical / Industrial applications. Hands on experience in defining the system / subsystem specifications, designing the system architecture and requirements for complex systems. Propose and provide innovative, competitive technical solutions which can make significant business impact and provide value to stakeholders. Estimate workload, establish and maintain project schedules and monitor progress through the project execution phases Collaborate with external and internal customers, such as Product Management, Operations and other Engineering teams during the product development life cycle Protects intellectual property through patents/ disclosures"

"- Should have hands on experience on hardware architecture design, feature & performance specifications, 16/32 bit micro-controllers/ DSP based designs.

Experience in Electronics design for Motor Control and Power Supply Design for VFDs, Relays, Electronic MCB, Trip Units,MCCB, AFCI, GFCI, Fusible Switches, Metering products to name a few. Should have hands on experience in High Speed Design, Digital Design, Mixed Signal Design Should have hands on experience on simulation tools like PSpice, LTSpice, Model Sim, etc.Analog circuit design and analysis skills including Op Amps, filters, power supply components, constant current driver.Digital circuit design and analysis skills including microprocessor circuits and communication interfaces and protocols like RS232, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, Wireless, BACNet, Modbus,TCP/IP, http, Modbus –TCP, RTU, DNP, BACNetIP, websockets etc. Schematic entry and familiarity with PCB design guidelines for SI, high speed design & understand PCB design impact on EMI/EMC.
