What You Will Do

The Service Engineer – CFS is responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building automation systems, fire detection & suppression systems, and electronic security systems. The role ensures system reliability, compliance with safety standards, and high customer satisfaction through timely service delivery.

What We Look For

1. Installation & CommissioningInstall and commission systems such as:Building Management Systems (BMS) / PLC-based control systemsFire Alarm Systems (FAS), Fire Suppression systemsCCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Alarm SystemsConduct system testing and ensure proper integrationValidate performance as per technical and safety standards2. Maintenance & ServicingPerform preventive and corrective maintenance of installed systemsConduct periodic inspections and system health checksEnsure minimal downtime through proactive maintenance3. Troubleshooting & Fault ResolutionDiagnose issues in control panels, sensors, wiring, and field devicesTroubleshoot PLCs, controllers, fire panels, and security devicesExecute timely repairs and escalate complex issues when required4. Customer SupportInterface with clients to understand issues and provide solutionsEnsure adherence to SLAs and service timelinesProvide user training and system guidance5. Documentation & ReportingMaintain service reports, maintenance logs, and compliance recordsUpdate service activities in CRM/ERP toolsTrack spare parts and inventory usage6. Compliance & SafetyEnsure compliance with fire safety standards (NFPA / NBC / local regulations)Adhere to company safety protocols during service activitiesParticipate in audits and inspectionsRequired QualificationsDiploma / Bachelor’s in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering2–5 years of experience in:Fire & Safety SystemsSecurity Systems (CCTV, Access Control)Building Automation / ControlsKey SkillsStrong troubleshooting in electrical & control systemsKnowledge of:Fire alarm panels (addressable & conventional)CCTV, Access Control systemsPLC / BMS systemsUnderstanding of wiring diagrams and control schematicsGood communication and customer-facing skills
