RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates, techno-commercial proposals, and bid documentation for:LV/MV Switchgear systemsTransformers (including MV Transformers)Ring Main Units (RMU)Power Distribution Units (PDU)Related electrical infrastructure for industrial and datacenter applicationsAnalyze customer specifications, BOQs, drawings, and tender documentsPerform costing, vendor evaluation, and risk analysisSupport proposal development, bid strategies, and value engineeringCollaborate with engineering, procurement, sales, and project teamsParticipate in technical discussions with clients and stakeholdersEnsure compliance with regional and international electrical standards and certificationsContribute to continuous improvement of estimation tools and processes

Technical Skills & Knowledge

Strong knowledge of:Electrical distribution systems (LV/MV)Switchgear, transformers, RMUs, PDUsWorking knowledge of:Building Management Systems (BMS)HVAC systems (basic integration awareness)Exposure to or understanding of:Datacenter infrastructure (preferred/optional)Power redundancy concepts (N, N+1, 2N)Critical power distributionFamiliarity with global electrical standards and certifications such as:IEC, IEEE, ANSI, UL, CE, etc.Ability to review and interpret:Single line diagrams (SLD)Schematics and layoutsSpecifications and datasheets

Experience

QUALIFICATIONS

2 to 8 years of experience in:Proposal engineering / estimationElectrical system costing and bid preparationExperience in industrial, infrastructure, or datacenter projects is an advantage

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech – Electrical)
