At Eaton India Innovation Center, Electrical Risk Management Center of Excellence is currently seeking a 'Senior Engineer - Reliability' to join our team! This position is based at our office in Magarpatta City, Pune. The Core Responsibilities Of This Position Are As Follows

Deliver Design for Reliability (DFR) in electrical product development programs without impacting the schedule. Influence design by introducing novel ideas that not only mitigate reliability risks but also optimize product performance. Develop PoF-based reliability assessments for electrical/electronic products as well cooling system solutions used in data centers. Plan and conduct reliability life testing, leveraging Eaton’s internal test labs and external agencies as appropriate. Develop data analytics-based solutions by utilizing testing data from electrical/electronic products in the area of reliability life modeling. Reduce warranty defects through optimized burn-in strategies in close collaboration with respective plants, and drive problem-solving methods within the organization—such as FRACAS and Shainin Red X—in new product development and/or existing product engineering."

Create and/or revise DFR deliverables such as Reliability goal setting, Reliability Predictions, Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), Accelerated Life Test, Reliability Demonstration Test (RDT), Reliability Growth Analysis, FRACAS for NPIs, VAVE projects and/or existing product improvements. Work with cross functional team for designing in reliability on NPI programs and/or existing product improvements, VAVE projects & responsible for identifying, managing and mitigating reliability risks under supervision of senior. Planning project milestones, executing milestones, conducting deliverables reviews, communication with stakeholder and on-job development through technical mentoring."

Qualifications

"Required: Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

Preferred: Masters in Electrical/Electronics/Reliability engineering."

Required: Bachelors degree with 6+ experience or Masters degree with 2+ years experience in Electrical/Electronics product reliability

Skills

"

Proficiency in DfR process like system reliability modeling, goal setting, allocation, prediction, demonstration (life data analysis, reliability growth analysis & ALT) Proficiency in reliability standards such as MIL-HDBK-217F, NPRD, Telcordia Knowledge in FRACAS and reducing field/warranty data into relevant life and failure rate information. Desired: Relevant work experience in the field of Electronics and Electrical systems for data centers. Preferred: DFSS GB certified from reputed organization and ASQ – CRE. Experience with any industry proven reliability analysis suite of tools. Sherlock, Reliasoft, Blocksim & Minitab preferred."
