An engineer in electrical equipment manufacturing performs flow and thermal analysis for switchgear, UPS, circuit protection devices, transformers, and related products, developing and validating CFD models for conjugate heat transfer and electronics cooling. This person applies CFD, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics to predict thermal performance, validate digital prototypes with physical testing, and support design programs. What You’ll Do
"The primary responsibility of this role is to perform flow & thermal analysis of switchgear/UPS/Circuite protection devices/transformer & allied electrical products for thermal performance prediction. Individual will be required to partner with teams located in India, Europe, US & China, understand specific design intent, develop, and validate analysis models to substantiate various engineering designs. He/She should be conversant with different products within the electrical portfolio. Candidate should ensure proper coordination and communication with all stakeholders by following project management best practices.This position is responsible for handling medium complex technologies related to conjugate heat transfer,flow estimtion & electronics cooling wherein incumbent is expected to independently handle requirements and deliver quality results within stipulated timelines.
The candidate should have strong background in heat transfer,fluid mechanics with thorough understanding of CFD analysis fundamentals.He/She should proactively look for various opportunities to validate his/her analytical predictions with physical testing to constantly mature DP capabilities."
