Analyst - Compliance

What You’ll Do

This position will be based in Eaton’s Ethics and Compliance Corporate office in Pune.

This position will support Eaton’s Third-Party Due Diligence (3PDD) function in the areas of compliance, third-party screening, risk assessment and mitigation, documentation and project execution.

Responsibility includes

Support screening activities, monitoring for our third parties / distributors and sales agents before we work with them, conduct watchlist screening, escalate any items that need attention, synthesize, and analyze data derived from multiple sources and work closely with the Ethics and Compliance team. The role also carries ownership of the recurring 3PDD reporting and data-maintenance cycle, which requires hands-on Microsoft Excel and Power BI capability.

Third Party Due Diligence (3PDD)

Support the day-to-day execution of local and global Third-Party Compliance activities including screening of third parties and on-going monitoring of third party vendorsEnsure third parties / distributors / sales agents are sufficiently identified, assessed, screened and monitored before entering into contractsMonitoring and maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for appropriate escalation to stakeholders, including building and refreshing Power BI dashboards and Excel-based trackers used for KPI and metrics reportingUtilize various tools, applications and platforms to successfully assess risk and complete due diligence reviews efficientlyManage mailbox flow and provide timely response to inquiriesFacilitate and work on any other ad-hoc requests for the Ethics and Compliance functionSupport any project based or merger / acquisition due diligence screeningsDevelop expertise in due diligence review processes and technology and coordinate reporting of relevant metrics and key process improvementsPartner with other functions such as CLM, IT, Supplier Add Change to ensure that Third-Party Compliance Program is operational as a cross-functional programSupport Internal Audit team with root cause and investigation and identify gaps and work on validation and mitigation of the gapsFacilitate initial review of third party red flag reports with internal businessesMaintain the monthly third-party master data in Excel, preserving data integrity and the controlled file structure that supports connected Power BI reportingPrepare recurring and annual reporting outputs, including the Profit Plan consolidation and executive level slides, with figures traceable to source dataRun the monthly reminder cycles for pending questionnaires, training and red-flag cases using the established Excel and Power Automate workflows

Technical Competencies & Service Delivery Requirements

2-3 years of working experience in manufacturing industries / similar industry. Working knowledge of vendor management regulatory requirements, third party risk and contract management will be an added advantageAbility to communicate effectively with various audiences at all levels of the organization, including senior leadershipProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook – advanced Excel is required (pivot tables, lookups / XLOOKUP, conditional logic, data cleansing and de-duplication, Power Query); Power BI is required (report build, data model refresh, publishing and sharing)Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsExperience developing risk metrics and trending reports, and presenting them through Power BI dashboards and Excel reporting packs

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution2-3 years of working experience in manufacturing industries / similar industry will be required where there has been exposure on master data maintenanceDemonstrable hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel and Power BI in a reporting, analytics or master-data role; a Microsoft Power BI / data analytics certification is an advantageHighly proactive, able to work both independently and within a collaborative team oriented environment using sound judgment in decision-makingFocus on continuous improvementStrong data discipline – able to validate data accuracy, reconcile figures to source, and protect controlled file structures supporting connected reporting
