In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain automated testing solutions that help deliver reliable, intuitive, and high-quality experiences across Infoblox’s cloud-first networking and security products. Collaborating closely with UX Design, Engineering, Product Management, and QA teams, you will strengthen automation coverage, accelerate feedback through CI/CD, and apply responsible AI-assisted tools to improve test productivity and decision support in a highly collaborative environment.Be a Contributor — What You’ll DoDevelop and maintain automated test scripts and reusable frameworks for web applications and user experiencesCreate and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for functional, regression, smoke, integration, and cross-browser testingAutomate UI and UX validation using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Java, Python, TestNG, or equivalent technologiesValidate REST APIs and backend workflows using tools such as Postman or REST AssuredIntegrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or comparable toolsInvestigate test failures, analyze defects, and document clear, reproducible findings in Jira or similar systemsPartner with designers, developers, product managers, and QA engineers to identify automation opportunities and improve test coveragePerform database validation using SQL and verify data accuracy across application and service layersUse approved AI-assisted testing tools to accelerate test-case generation, identify high-risk scenarios, summarize results, and support failure triage while applying human review and sound testing judgmentContribute to automation standards, quality metrics, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiativesBe Prepared — What You Bring3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, or a related engineering disciplineHands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or comparable UI automation toolsProficiency in Java, Python, or another programming language used for test automationExperience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Pytest, Cucumber, or equivalentExperience testing web applications, REST APIs, and integrations across distributed or cloud-based systemsWorking knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Docker, or comparable development and delivery toolsAbility to write SQL queries and validate application data and service responsesExperience with defect-tracking and test-management tools such as JiraFamiliarity with approved AI-assisted development or testing tools, including responsible use, output validation, data protection, and awareness of AI-generated errorsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline preferredBe Successful — Your PathFirst 90 Days: Immerse in our culture, connect with mentors (Blox Buddies), and map the systems and meet with key stakeholders that rely on your work.
