We are looking for a passionate and technically strong Consultant, Model Development (Java) to join our team and help build innovative solutions that power decision-making across the global credit ecosystem.This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of software engineering, analytics, and financial services, solving complex business challenges while partnering with clients, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.What You'll DoAs a Consultant, Model Development, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, testing, and delivering high-impact analytical solutions and model implementation programs.Key responsibilities include:Design and execute complex test strategies to ensure high-quality software and data delivery.Analyze large datasets and test results to maintain data accuracy, integrity, and performance.Develop, optimize, and support scalable model implementation solutions and batch-processing systems.Independently troubleshoot and resolve technical and processing issues across the solution lifecycle.Collaborate with business users, product teams, and clients to translate requirements into technical solutions.Serve as a trusted advisor on system capabilities, implementation best practices, and operational excellence.Drive continuous improvement initiatives, risk mitigation, and process optimization across programs.Contribute to medium and high-complexity projects that directly impact business outcomes and customer success.What We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.9 to 9 years of professional software development experience.5+ years of experience in analytics, model implementation, software engineering, or related technical domains.Strong programming expertise in:Core JavaStrong problem-solving and debugging skills with the ability to work independently.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred ExperienceFinancial Services, Consumer Credit, Risk Analytics, or Banking domain experience.Client-facing consulting or solution delivery experience.Experience leading technical initiatives and driving project execution.Familiarity with data manipulation, performance optimization, and enterprise-scale software systems.
