Calculate and maintain customer rebate accruals basis contractual terms (volume, growth, promotional, special rebates)Ensure accurate monthly/quarterly rebate provisions in line with sales performanceReconcile rebate balances between customer agreements, sales data, and finance recordsProcess rebate claims and coordinate with Sales, Commercial, and Controlling teams for validation and approvalMonitor rebate utilization vs. accruals and identify over/under provisionsPrepare journal entries for rebate accruals, reversals, and settlementsEnsure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies (including revenue recognition alignment where applicable)Support audits by providing documentation and justification for rebate calculationsMaintain and update rebate master data and agreementsDrive process improvements in rebate process across various segmentsAssist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to rebatesContribute to RtR month-end activities like accruals, prepaid journal postings during periods of lower rebate workloadAnalyze rebate trends and provide insights to support commercial decision-making

What do you need to be successful in this role?

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, FinanceMinimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.Good understanding of IFRS15, rebate accounting, accruals, settlements, reconciliations, and related financial impacts.Knowledge of internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance requirements.Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; good command of written and spoken English.Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is an advantage.
