Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain native Android applications using KotlinOwn multiple Android codebases, ensuring quality, performance, and maintainabilityImplement new features and enhancements, ensuring high performance, scalability, and usabilityTroubleshoot and resolve application defects, crashes, performance bottlenecks, and production issuesCollaborate with UX/UI designers to deliver intuitive and engaging mobile experiencesIntegrate mobile applications with backend services, APIs, authentication systems, and third-party SDKsParticipate in application architecture decisions, code reviews, testing, release management, and technical documentationMonitor application quality through analytics, logging, crash reporting, and performance metricsEnsure compliance with Android platform guidelines, security standards, and best practicesCollaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutionsContribute to backend and API development activities when required, supporting the evolution of mobile and API platformsSupport CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and application deployment processesContinuously improve development practices, maintainability, and release efficiency

Required Skills

3+ years of hands-on experience developing native Android applicationsStrong proficiency in Kotlin and/or JavaSolid understanding of Android architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, MVC, etc.)Experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs and backend servicesExperience with mobile debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimizationFamiliarity with the Google Play Store publishing processExperience with Git-based development workflowsExperience using Claude Code or alternative toolsKnowledge of mobile security best practices and secure data handlingStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsGood communication skills in English

Preferred Skills

Fullstack development experience across backend services, APIs, and cloud integrationExperience managing multiple Android codebases simultaneouslyFamiliarity with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, DocumentDB or similarExperience with cloud platforms and services (AWS or Google Cloud)Exposure to microservices architectures and containerized deploymentsKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile and backend applicationsKnowledge of usage of GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, CodexExperience with push notifications, mobile analytics, crash reporting, and monitoring tools

Experience

3+ years of relevant experience in Android application developmentProven experience delivering and maintaining production mobile applicationsPortfolio, published applications, Git repository, or examples of previous work are highly appreciated
